Pictured above are Angelo & Ed at their 1st “Ang n’ Ed” Show at the now closed “Social On 6 Restaurant” in Mahopac, NY in 2014.
Ang ‘n Ed is made up of Angelo Santilli on acoustic guitar & vocals, and Ed Busse on electric bass & vocals. Their partnership goes back 18+ years, first as original founding members of Hudson Valley favorites The Guys Night Out Band, and most recently with the Ang ‘n Ed Acoustic Duo. Their easy-going, interactive style (along with their extensive playlist and lush harmonies) has made them a crowd-favorite as they have established themselves as one of the hardest working acts in the area.
Ang ‘n Ed are equally adept in a number of musical styles, but it is easy to hear where their influences lie – The Beatles, The Everly Brothers, and Simon Garfunkel are a few that come to mind. They perform close to a hundred shows a year in multiple counties throughout the Hudson Valley, and they have become known for their ability to engage and include their audiences, as well as their ability to play just about any and all requests!
In December 2018, Ang entered – and won – a singer/songwriter competition at Keegan Ale in Kingston, NY with his song “Guardian Angel.” This event has motivated Ang ‘n Ed to add more original material to their repertoire, and a trip to Millbrook Sound Studios has produced – with the help of master engineer Paul Orofino – a couple of well-received tunes. More days in the recording studio lie ahead as they work towards producing their first album of all-original material. Stay tuned…
